“KEEPING UP WITH THE JONESES”

In this group show, organized by the writer Jane Harris, the suburban neighbors have gone darkly bonkers. The girl next door is pole-dancing on the porch of a serial rapist (in a video by Marion Wilson), while the boys are wrestling in erotic slo-mo and talking about bloated deer carcasses in the woods (in videos by Janet Biggs and Carol Saft, respectively). Mom is smoking something illegal (in photographs by LaToya Ruby Frazier), and others indulge in hobbies like shellacking the Spam (William Pope.L.) and decorating chicken and mouse skulls with fake antlers, like trophies in a kitschy Southwestern boutique (Alessandra Exposito).
